Sonya Woodrow has only one child left in her care. Purely because she is not old enough to leave and support herself. Sonya abuses her youngest child mentally and physically everyday. Sonya does not want her daughter to have a life outside of her house. Both of Sonya’s previous child brain washing schemes have failed so her daughter is her last chance. In Sonya’s sick and twisted world she thinks she can alienate children so much that they think they have to care to her every need for the rest of their lives.

Sonya tries to control her children’s lives by making every decision or communication go through her, for example if she wants to be in control of her sons phone she will convince them to join her mobile plan for “cheaper rates” when its actually just to have the power. When her youngest son first wanted to leave school and work as a mechanic she told him that she knew the person who was in charge at the workshop that was hiring so she would sort out the job for him. Of course this was all lies so he ended up waiting and waiting and in the end she had her way, he gained no Independence and had to stay under her control for even longer. All of these lies are meant to manipulate her children into waiting around and thinking they need Sonya for these things. Whether its saying that their last two birthday presents must of been lost in the mail, we didn’t go on the family holiday because you children have been misbehaving, stopping paying for her child’s chosen sport half way through their season, saying there is an inheritance waiting for when you are old enough, even lying to family members about owning houses and hair salons that don’t belong to her.

Living with Sonya is not a healthy environment and it is no place for any child to live. However nobody will listen, they would rather walk away because they know how difficult and disturbed Sonya is.
